Domestic Structural Assessment

Recently, we went sale agreed on a property in North Kerry which was described by the estate agent as "in need of renovation and modernisation". It was built in 1977, cavity blocks, tile roof, heating system not working, vacant for some time. We needed a structural engineer to perform a thorough evaluation, and we didn't want a light touch survey. Donal Brosnan had done some work for family members, and came highly recommended, particularly for his precision and attention to detail. The survey produced by Donal and Michael can be described in one word - forensic. It went into detail on every aspect of the building, outlining defects and shortcomings, improvements and upgrades needed, design flaws, and provides a baseline for our renovation project. We have also spoken to Donal about the renovation work, and he has been able to provide some expert insights and advice. We would higly recommend Donal for any structural assessment requirements.
